"it's not where you've been, it's where you're going. it's not who you were back then, it's who you are at this moment." what an amazingly powerful and amazingly awesome statement. while jimmy wayne penned this about a real-life personal experience between him and a jail guard...i was reminded of how deeply this truth penetrates. God tells us through Paul, "you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ...formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods.
