The Ocean
Have you ever thought about how reminiscent the ocean is to God...?? The ocean, like God, is incredibly vast; it stretches far beyond the horizon, yet reaches you and me. It is all over the world, while I stand in its midst, someone in China, Africa, Indo, Chile, and Australia does the same...it touches both of us, uniquely but at the same time. It is consistent; it doesn't care if you are rich and famous or poor and unknown...it offers waves to ride, depths to explore, and miles to sail, to every person. It can produce the fiercest storms that bring fear in the wake of destruction while at the same time offer the simplest moments of healing and happiness. For the ocean is both revered in it's power and respected in it's strength; even those who do not wish to partake in it's adventures cannot deny these attributes.
