What I Want To Be, When I Grow Up
" What do you want to be when you grow up ?" Ahh, the timeless, age-old question typically asked to little ones in their formative years. But sometimes, when life is just a little too much, I like to sit back and imagine all the possibilities before me. And, today, I feel especially inspired to share these precocious ideas of mine. Thus, my top ten choices: #10. Social Worker Given that I'm in school to become a social worker, I figured that it's imperative the time and money being spent on this current pursuit be honored in the list. Unfortunately we're a week away from finals which makes it difficult to be enthusiastic about this endeavor...but I vaguely remember wanting to work with oppressed and marginalized communities in hopes of making the world a better place for everyone -- but now I just want to survive the remainder of the school year. #9.
